We have combined the best qualities of helium filled airships
and helicopters for a truly superior remotely operated aerial
vehicle for high quality aerial imaging.
High eye limited is a commercial company set-up to work in
both private and public sector.
Specialising in aerial photography, our UAV (unmanned aerial
vehicle) can carry a host of scientific capturing devices
(depending on the needs of the customer), capable measuring
and recording projects, from virtually any position.
The UAV has a choice of having either electric or fuel power
for its main lift motor and have a remotely controlled 360
degree rotating drive unit enabling it to travel in any direction
with controllable speeds.
The capturing equipment is fixed to a pan, tilt and rotate
mount, making it totally universal and adaptable for any situation.
The UAV and capturing devices will be positioned with radio
transmitters, and the image data will be sent from the capturing
devices with an onboard video/audio wireless transmitter down
link to the ground receiver, which can then be displayed on
a laptop, or a view screen.
The image data can then be surveyed, analysed and documented
to give you perfect control over your project area.
Actions of the High Eye Project are in producing the following
- Cost effective aerial photography produced to scale.
- Precise referencing (OS) points to be located and highlighted
on the photograph.
- Semi transparent photographs laid over digital terrain
files or vice versa.
- Filters to show various types of data.
- Image draped over digital terrain models.
This technique could be adopted for many uses including:
- Vegetation surveys, especially during times of colour
variation.
- Record site / asset condition (i.e. waste storage or
tipping)
- Recording progress and staffing on large complex projects.
- Highway schemes etc
- Archaeological studies (photographs could be taken repeatedly
from the same location in different light conditions etc
- Identification of flooding extents
- Traffic build up patterns
